An oil-pressure warning is different from a low oil-level reminder

If the pressure warning stays on while the engine runs, stop as soon as it is safe and follow the manual.

Oil level and oil pressure are different measurements. A dipstick can show that oil is present, but it cannot confirm that the engine is building adequate pressure.

If the oil-pressure warning remains on or appears with knocking noise, shut the engine off when safe. Do not keep driving to see whether it clears; get the cause checked before restarting.
