To understand a hesitation with light throttle, compare it under normal, safe conditions: cold versus warm, idle versus steady speed, and light versus higher load. Note engine temperature, gear, road grade, and whether the hesitation is brief or sustained. Change one condition at a time so the result stays useful.
Do not create a risky test just to reproduce it. Inspect the intake duct and connectors disturbed during recent service.
