To understand a coolant level that keeps falling, compare it under normal, safe conditions: cold versus warm, idle versus steady speed, and light versus higher load. Record cold level over several days and note any puddle, odor, or temperature change. Change one condition at a time so the result stays useful.
Do not create a risky test just to reproduce it. Inspect visible hoses and the ground after parking; a leak can evaporate on hot parts.
