To understand a new electrical issue after an accessory was installed, compare it under normal, safe conditions: cold versus warm, idle versus steady speed, and light versus higher load. Record what was added, where power and ground were connected, and when the fault appears. Change one condition at a time so the result stays useful.
Do not create a risky test just to reproduce it. Inspect the accessory fuse and wiring route; avoid stacking taps or using an oversized fuse.
