With the vehicle off and following the owner's manual, look for a loose clamp, heavy corrosion, or a damaged cable. Do not bridge the terminals with a tool or work near a battery if it is leaking, swollen, or otherwise damaged.

A clean-looking connection is not a substitute for a battery and charging test. If several unrelated warning lights appeared together after a weak start, record the codes and have the supply system checked.

Quick educational note

For information, not a diagnosis or repair instruction. Vehicle-specific checks are still required. Consult the manufacturer's guidance and a qualified technician.
